CRUD is also sometimes used to describe user interface conventions that facilitate viewing, searching, and changing information; often using computer-based forms and reports.
The term was likely first popularized by James Martin in his 1983 book Managing the Data-base Environment.
The acronym may be extended to CRUDL to cover listing of large data sets which bring additional complexity such as pagination when the data sets are too large to hold easily in memory.
Another variation of CRUD is BREAD, an acronym for "Browse, Read, Edit, Add, Delete".

Any ideas what happened to my Intelli Sense and what I need to do to get it back?
If you recently upgraded your Visual Studio then see this link for a fix: The Intelli Sense feature in SSMS 2008 R2 may stop working after you install Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Or you could download the fix directly from here: How to obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2008 R2 There are number of possibilities where Intelli Sense not working: There are cases where the local cache used by Intelli Sense becomes stale.
Refreshing the cache is easy but not necessarily obvious. I checked Intelli Sense, and found it was enabled already. These two features are what I think of as "intellisense", and Microsoft does not disagree: Intelli Sense is the general term for a number of features: List Members, Parameter Info, Quick Info, and Complete Word.
However, I found that "Auto list members" and "Parameter information" were unchecked. These features help you to learn more about the code you are using, keep track of the parameters you are typing, and add calls to properties and methods with only a few keystrokes.
